da brwin: Swansea are ready to make an ambitious £5 million offer for Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez, The Daily Mail claim.
The Liberty Stadium club are eager to bolster their squad after an impressive first season in the top flight last term, but have lost Joe Allen to Liverpool this summer.
However, Michael Laudrup has brought in a number of new faces to the Welsh side, and is set to use his extensive knowledge and experience of La Liga to strengthen the Swans contingent further.
With Scott Sinclair in the last year of his contract, Swansea risk losing another one of their stars, with Manchester City and a number of other Premier League big boys interested.
Hernandez, who worked with Laudrup during his time as head coach of Getafe, is seen as a replacement and the Premier League side have launched a £4million bid.
However Valencia are holding out for around £5.5 million.
