THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Portugal international was heavily linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League this summer as Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr tried to sign the Red Devils skipper. The midfielder, however, turned down those offers, as he wanted to continue with the Premier League giants. Recent reports, though, claim that he could be open to leaving Old Trafford next season, with a move to either MLS or to the Middle East on the cards.
