da brwin： Toby Alderweireld was one of those that could have come into contention to return to the XI following his 90-minute comeback against Newport County during the week, but the Belgian doesn’t even make the substitutes’ bench with Davinson Sanchez keeping his place at the heart of the defence.
Pochettino’s men currently lie one point outside of the top four in the Premier League and know that a draw would be enough to see them move above another rival from the capital in Chelsea on goal difference, but a win would also give them a seven-point advantage over the sixth-placed Gunners.
Tottenham supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on Pochettino’s selection for the derby, and while one said “very surprised we’re not seeing the pace of Aurier and Rose today”, another said “strange that there is no Toby and Winks on the bench”.
