Arsenal have improved their form considerable in recent weeks, securing four consecutive victories across all competitions after losing their two opening Premier League matches.
However, the Gunners are yet to keep a clean sheet under the guidance of Unai Emery and their defensive vulnerability was exposed on Thursday evening in the Europa League as Ukranian side Vorksla netted two late goals.
Speculation suggests that Emery, who signed Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and goalkeeper Bernd Leno in the summer, will look to bolster his defensive ranks again in January – and the Gunners have been linked with Manchester United’s Eric Bailly.
The Ivory Coast international has become frustrated with his lack of opportunities at Old Trafford and we asked Arsenal fans whether they would like to see the 24-year-old brought to North London in the New Year.
A whopping 82% of supporters stated they want Emery to bring Bailly in to improve their frail defensive line, with just 18% not keen on signing the defender who is rated at £31.5m by Transfermarkt.
