da poker: Morgan Schneiderlin has failed to make the Everton matchday squad for each of the Toffees’ last four Premier League fixtures. Since summer signing Andre Gomes reached full fitness, Schneiderlin has been ousted from the first-team picture by Marco Silva.
Given Schneiderlin’s poor form, it is hardly surprising to see him struggling to get a look in at Goodison Park.

The 15-cap France international joined Everton from Manchester United in January 2017 for an initial fee of around £20 million. He has hardly lived up to his price tag in his time on Merseyside though, and Everton would now be wise to cut their losses on the underperforming 29-year-old.
If sold in January, the midfielder would likely fetch less than his £18 million Transfermarkt valuation, but if Everton are serious about mounting a challenge for European football then Schneiderlin is the kind of deadweight they must shed their squad of.
What do you think, Toffees fans – can Schneiderlin still have a part to play under Silva?
