da brdice： Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after Adam Lewis put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with the club, as reported on the club’s official website.
The 19-year-old left-back has been a mainstay in the Reds’ Under-23 side so far this season, and was recently included in the first team’s trip to Marbella as a reward for his noticeable progress.
Lewis has also represented England at Under-20 level, whilst also playing in the Under-19 European Championships.
The teenager can also play in midfield, and has been tipped for big things at Anfield. Additionally, with Alberto Moreno’s contract up in the summer, Lewis has been touted as Andrew Robertson’s understudy for next season, as one would assume that Moreno will not be offered fresh terms.
Lewis has been with the Merseyside-based club since the age of six, and the fans clearly have high hopes for him.
